For most of us, going out and about has been restricted to going out for essential purposes only, such as going to the grocery store, the bank, or maybe the pharmacy. Many countries have imposed travel bans or even required taking a CoViD-19 test with “Negative” as a result. For some, two negative results are needed.
You might be thinking, “Why even travel out of the US at all right now?” and you’re right! There are lots to see around the United States of America! However, that doesn’t change the fact that travel is still restricted, even for domestic travel.
In addition, you can’t argue that staying at home will always be safer. Still, if you need to scratch that travel itch, you can do so from the comfort of your own homes! I am not talking about high-level imagination here, I am talking about virtual tours!

That’s right, there are museums, landmarks, theme parks, hotels, and even outer space venues that you can visit via the internet. It only takes a few clicks to explore.
Museums. Museums and galleries are among the most visited items in an itinerary, probably because these are places that hold the history behind a destination. Some museums that offer virtual tours include The Louvre, British Museum, Metropolitan Museum, and Guggenheim (New York).
I miss long museum walks. I miss mingling with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Landmarks. Since we’re on tourist destinations, let us not forget the iconic Eiffel Tower, and the Great Wall of China. Yes, that’s the Great Wall without having to deal with the crowd.
#StayHome and virtually travel in times of Coronavirus.
Virtual tours that let you see the world from the comfort of your home.
Theme Parks. There are also theme parks that heard your lamentation over your postponed trips. Now, you can take a virtual tour around Disney World, Universal Studios, and (for the Potterheads out there,) the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Hotels. Themed hotels such as Legoland Hotel offer virtual tours of their rooms, including the LEGO NINJAGO Room, Treasure Room, Adventure Room, Kingdom Room, and many others.
